"I won't! Because when I grow up, I'll marry Brother Lee!"

When Lee Yu An remembered little Xiu Mei's words, he flashed a complicated smile that disappeared very quickly.

"You should spend time to meet people to date, Princess. Or else you won't find your Prince Charming." He said as he poked one of his chopsticks onto the dumplings.

"..."

Xiu Mei blinked. Prince Charming?

She stared at the figure across her. 'That's you, though.' She thought. And even if she meet other people, he would always be her Prince Charming.

Xiu Mei bit her lip as she s.h.i.+fted her sight at her plate. A Prince Charming was what she desired when she was still young and innocent on this world. After all, a Prince Charming is also the Princess' knight and s.h.i.+ning armor. Before, she thought she deserved her nickname as the Princess. But now, she realized how naive she was.

In this harsh world, a prince charming was what she shouldn't ask for. The love she wants was fidelity, honesty and understanding. Xiu Mei had grown up so much to realize that. No matter how perfect Lee Yu An was, she knew that he wasn't the person she really needed.

Xiu Mei understood that this person, wasn't the one she could imagine standing beside her for the rest of her life.

Suddenly, the face of the cold man appeared in her mind. She felt her heart freeze up and her thoughts paused.

Why was she suddenly remembering Lu Chen right now?

She lightly pinched herself on the leg. My G.o.d, was she going crazy? Really? Why was she remembering the president while thinking about the ideal man she wanted to be with?

After thinking such bizarre thoughts, she quickly shrugged it all off before asking some random question at Lee Yu An to change the topic.

The both of them finished their dinner while catching up with each other. Lee Yu An would often throw some antics at Xiu Mei, and she would easily point it out and tell him out right away.

The two went to a nearby park before they went home. Side by side, Lee Yu An continued on his stories that went on in his training, and other fun stuff he went with Xiu Mei's eldest brother.

Unbeknownst to Xiu Mei, a man inside the black car had been watching her movements ever since she left the restaurant.

"Drive." Lu Chen ordered. He tried to soundcalm, to act like he was not bothered by all the things he had witnessed just now, yet his eyes was full of frost. It almost felt like someone would instant die from how sharp his gaze was right at this moment.

The black car immediately drove away, distancing away from the location of the woman.

Lee Yu An dropped off Xiu Mei at her hotel before returning to the camp. He had offered her a ride to the airport for tomorrow's flight but she quickly turned him down.

Xiu Mei knew how much work Lee Yu An had to set aside just to make time for her tonight and she didn't want him to skip work even tomorrow just to drop her off at the airport. She didn't want to tire him out too much.

Returning back to her room, she did her nightly routine before going to sleep.

Back in City A.

What was supposed to be a normal morning was disrupted by an explosive business news.

Lu Chen of the Lu Corporation is now getting married! The partner? None other than the only female he was always seen with, his secretary Xiu Mei hailing from the prestigious Xiu Family!

Almost every person in China was in a buzz. Lu Corporation's name is known in the entire country and globally, and even Lu Chen's name also rocketed up high in the search list in various websites.

Xiu Mei's name also made it into the list, especially after her ident.i.ty was uncovered in front of the whole world to see. Our unsuspecting protagonist however is just currently sitting and relaxing on the plane that was flying back to City A.

The PR team of the Lu Corporation was now in chaos. Not only them, but including the other departments who was also being bombarded by calls from the media and some unknown male and females. When all the Lu Corporation employees saw this headline in their televisions this morning, almost every person spewed out anything that they were drinking and eating. Some people who were oversleeping was woken up by the colleagues who was trying to call them to tell them news.

Basically, even the employees was thoroughly shocked by this unexpected development of the two bosses of Lu Corporation. Even though some employees have been speculating regarding the relations.h.i.+p between their two bosses, they did not expect that the relations.h.i.+p was actually too hidden and now, they are already on the stage of getting married.

Come on! The most they had expected from their emperor CEO was just getting a girlfriend you know? They didn't even understand that someone would really be willing to get caught in his net and be together with such an ice block.

"Sir, what should we do--"

"Just leave them." Lu Chen spoke, never leaving his gaze at the report papers he was reading. Lu Shao stood in front of him for awhile, debating whether he should just really ignore this big issue involving Xiu Mei. As far as Lu Shao understood his partner's personality, Xiu Mei is sure to explode in anger after learning of this issue.

She would definitely become even more angry if she learns that Lu Chen was not even doing anything to pacify the media. Without Lu Chen's instructions, the PR team also didn't know of how to respond to the media's questions because they themselves weren't aware of what was the true relations.h.i.+p between the two of them.

Lu Shao sighed in defeat as he thought that Xiu Mei's plane would be arriving the next two hours. He could already imagine some war that would have no end. Xiu Mei's personality.... she really wasn't the type of person to not care about this.

Goodluck, boss. Lu Shao thought.

After chanting a short prayer for his president's welfare, Lu Shao finally decided to leave his room and returned to his work station.
