Chapter 221 - Men's Watch

Xiu Mei slept deeply that day almost missing lunch. If it weren't for King who was nudging her awake because they were hungry, she would have surely continued sleeping on an empty stomach.

"A watch? Why? I could just buy you another one if you lost it." A surprising statement coming from the economical CEO who loves to wear unbranded stuff.

"No, that's not it. The men's watch is a gift from someone so I felt bad when I realized I lost it. Was it not there?"

"A men's watch?" Lu Chen's lips tightened. Who dared to gift his wife a watch, even more so a men's watch! He suddenly had the idea of killing that person at the moment.

Xiu Mei nodded.

"No, there was none." He coldly responded. That d.a.m.ned watch can go and disappear into the depths of h.e.l.l for all he cares. But he still has to know who gave her that.

"Who gave it to you?" He tried to ask as casually as possible to not alarm his wife.

"Eh? Ah… from someone." Xiu Mei stuttered.

Lu Chen's eyelids jumped. "The watch has a tracker built in it?!"

He felt his blood pressure soar. A man dared to put a tracker on his wife!!!!

No! This one, he couldn't let it slide. He would go and have someone investigate who this person was and beat him up.

Xiu Mei slightly jumped when he suddenly rose his voice. Luckily, she was already used to him roaring in anger inside the conference room so she wasn't scared by it one bit.

"Is it possible to find it if it has a tracker?"

Lu Chen almost couldn't hide the disbelief on his face as he looked at his wife.

And why is his wife so keen on finding this watch! Who is it?! Who was it from!?

"No! It's not possible!" He stubbornly decided. He wouldn't let that watch return to Xiu Mei's hands ah!

"Really?"

"Yes!"

"...Okay…"

Although Xiu Mei didn't have that much expectation, she was still a bit disappointed hearing Lu Chen's response.

Ah, she really feels terrible. To think she lost the first thing she received from her son. She felt like a terrible mother ah.

Lu Chen gulped. ".... Just tell me a few things about the tracker then maybe we could figure something out."
