Chapter 3093 Choice

Chapter 3093 Choice

'Her brother had come,' I thought, as I looked at her hugging a young man. One does not need much to make the connection.

I looked at them. There are four of them. The one that Ranya is hugging seemed to be in his early twenties and an elf like her. One could clearly tell they were siblings, looking at their features.

Besides, the young man is a woman and a man of the same age as him. They looked human, but had wings made of light.

The last one is a middle-aged man. He is clearly the most powerful and the leader of the group, seeing the way he is standing.

He is human. He had a thick blond gain and a strange white eye that seemed to be radiating the light. I can't sense his aura, but I know he is powerful, to easily punish Sart and others.

I stared at them for a moment before turning to Sart and the others. The punishment was heavy, but they deserved every bit of it for committing slavery.

The screams continued for more than half an hour before it they begin to stop one by one.

n.o.body said any words. To collared ones, they deserved it. To uncollared, the people who are carrying out the punishment are too powerful. If they said anything, they might be punished too.

They are more worried about their survival rather than the fate of those being punished.

So am I.

I don't know what these people would do. While Ranya is a friend, they might take offense in I was running away alone.

It would be quite bad if they decided to punish me. I am nothing compared to them. They could kill me without even moving. Their aura would be enough to turn me into a puddle.

Finally, the first person died. It was a cook; who liked to beat the people who critique his food. He was a peak Primary-III, a lot weaker than the leaders.h.i.+p, who were all Sovereigns.

A few seconds after the cook, the guard died and then another. One by one, all the people of the Primary stage begin to die, till only a sovereign had remained. It took another fifteen minutes for the first sovereign to die.

It was the steward Lem, who had brought me into the mine.

After it was some unknown stone-skin man that I had never seen and then the stone skin woman Zaagar.

The last one to die was Sart.

They seemed to hate the b.a.s.t.a.r.d the most. As while others fell unconscious in pain, the thorns covering him did not let him do that. He kept screaming in pain, till he took the last breath.

"The slavers are dead. You all are free," said the young man, whom Ranya is hugging.

Immediately, the collars we were wearing melted away, but they did not feel hot, as the melted liquid slid down our skin and fell on the ground.

The smile on the face of the collared was priceless. All of them had dreamed of this happening but never thought the thing would happen. But now, it had happened.

Their greatest dream has been fulfilled.

'Now what will happen?' I questioned as I looked at s.h.i.+ny people floating above like the G.o.ds.

I had just thought that when I found myself in a completely different place. I have found myself above a vast city and I am not alone. All four of them are here, including Ranya.

There are also six of us. I am not the only one they have brought. They have brought Rim, Karta, and all of Ranya's roommates.

"City lord, appears once," said the middle-aged man, who is leading the group.

He had said softly, but his voice had spread through the city. As all the small people looked above from the ground.

"Who dares to speak so loudly in my city!" came a roar, and an old-looking man with scaly hands and a tiny horn came out of the biggest building in the city.

Those thunderous expressions remained on his face, only for a moment, before fear appeared as he looked above. He stared for a moment, before flying toward us, fast.

"My lords." He bowed as he appeared in front of us.

"Bring out the members of the Lovel family," said the middle-aged man. It surprised him, but immediately, he bowed.

"As you wish, my lord," said the old man and flew toward the sound, before landing at a huge compound. For a minute, he disappeared, before appearing out, with nine people of the stone-skin race, all of their sovereigns.

"My lord, I have brought the members of the Lovel family," said City-Lord, bowing again, while members Lovel family looked with fear in their eyes.

"Do you know what your crime is?" asked the middle-aged man to the members of the Lovel family.

"We are members of Yar organization. I am sure, whatever mistake we have committed could be solved amicably," said the oldest and most powerful member of the stone-skin tribe.

The old man had either made a very smart choice or was very dumb. By revealing his organization.

"Hehe," Rayna's brother just smiled, and horror appeared on the face of a stone-skin old man, and he opened his mouth.

When he found himself on a pillar made of light, with light thorns covering every part of his body.

It is not just him, but also all the members of the family who found themselves hanging on the pillars with thorns covering them.

"You have dared to enslave, who you shouldn't," said the middle-aged, and immediately, the light thorns dug into their bodies.

Ahhhh....

They started screaming mournfully, loudly as Sart and others did, while the city lord watched with horror. That turned into terror when the middle-aged man looked at him.

"The accords clearly state that slavery is forbidden in the world, but you let it happen in your city," said the middle-aged man and increase further in his eyes.

Ahhhhh...

He opened his mouth to say something, but only a scream came out of it as he found himself on the pillar, with a light thorn digging into his flesh.

As it happened, I saw the compound of the Lovel family collapsing and so is the magnificent manna from which the city lord had come out.

It is not just two buildings, but many buildings across the city collapsed. Within a minute, the quarter of this huge city collapsed and the most shocking is, I did not even sense how he did it.

I am not surprised. The difference in power between us is so huge that even if he had used power, I am powerful enough to sense it.

Half an hour pa.s.sed, and the first person died much faster than in the cave. In the next seven minutes, all the others died, including the city lord.

All of them died before turning to ashes, while Rayna's brother turned toward me and others.

"Since you have helped my sister. I will help you and drop you to one of our affiliate organizations,"

"Do any of you have a problem with that?" he asked and immediately, the heads shook. Why would they have a problem, their eyes lit up. The moment he uttered those words.

"You will have our greatest thanks, my lord," said Rim, and others nodded happily.

"I would be grateful if you dropped me to any city, my lord," I said and immediately, a shock appeared on their faces.

This is a G.o.dsend opportunity, and I am being an idiot to decline it, but I don't want to commit to any organization without knowing about it.

It is a lifelong bond, and even if it is beneficial, I don't want to commit to it.

'Michael!' Rim hissed telekinetically. "Michael, think about it. The world is dangerous, joining an organization would be much safer," said Rayna, and I could sense her kind intentions.

"I made my decision," I said with a smile. She still seemed unwilling to accept as she opened her mouth, but was stopped by her brother.

"Your friend had made his choice, Ranya," said her brother, and a moment later, we disappear again and for a couple of seconds, everything was blank, before it became clear again.

I have found myself at the base of the small hill, with even denser energy, than I have felt in a mine or above the city.

"There is a small city a few miles away from here," said the Ranya brother, and a purple metallic medallion appeared in his hand and he threw it at me.

"This will be your id. Bind it with your soul and energy," he added as I caught it. "Thank you, my lord," I said as I bowed.

When I had looked up, I saw them gone. Not a single one had remained.

'I would have liked to say goodbye to them properly,' I said to myself. Well, it is not like I am not going to meet them again.

I am sure, our paths will cross again.
