Chapter 2753 - Sky Plundering Hand

Hearing about the ether-cla.s.s rewards greatly excited Custodian Demonpiece. The other divine wonderians next to them also heard it all. The fact that Meng Ying was personally offering the reward showed how important Tianming was. If they earned that merit, there would be no higher honor! Tianming had been messing with them all along!

"Li Tianming!" The old couple angrily glared at him, moving the chessboard and pieces to lock on to the two of them. That was all the time Tianming could buy.

"Capture him!"

"Yes!"

The ones who made moves weren't just Custodian Demonpiece. The other five wonderian pairs also joined in, all of them elites from Demonpiece Star. Twelve divine wonders were deployed on top of the chessboard and its pieces, applying pressure across the entire area! Apart from Custodian Demonpiece, there were two couples that were third-level cosmic cartographers. The other three pairs had two cosmic charts. The custodian themselves were definitely at least third-level cosmic cartographers or stronger.

"A third-level couple means that each of them has three cosmic charts. And they even have two divine wonders, to boot. How can they still be considered one fighting unit?"

Only an idiot would consider them six enemies instead of twelve. Even if they shared the same name and t.i.tle, they fought as two. Fortunately, Tianming's Order Relic Universal Body absorbed the suppression power of the enemy's order. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to move around given the immense power gap.

Even the youngest of the enemies was three thousand years old at the very least, much older than Lin Lingxiao. They were all at the peak of their power after so many years of cultivation! Thankfully for him, Zi Zhen's powers had been considerably restored, to the point that she could endure the order suppression. Without another word, she grabbed Tianming's hand and backed away. The two of them knew that it was their last chance to break out of the encirclement.

"How are you doing?" Tianming asked.

"I'm back at the fourth level. I'm really close to the fifth," Zi Zhen said. Now that they had been exposed, she didn't need to control herself any longer and rapidly absorbed xeno source through her mouth using her astral lungs. Even then, it wasn't enough to quickly restore her cosm.o.f.orce reserves. "I need soulstones!"

"How many?"

"Two hundred thousand!" She must have been running really low.

Tianming took out that number from his spatial ring, half in doubt from how she intended to consume that number of soulstones in a short period of time. Unlike what he had expected, her body inflated to accommodate all of it. She grew to a hundred meters tall and swallowed the soulstones in one go before shrinking again as she processed them. In other words, her peak form was still under two meters in height.

Soulstones were able to release a lot of energy in a short amount of time, causing the reserves in Zi Zhen's body to rapidly fill up. She was feeling more energetic than most lifebound beasts, and the stars in her eyes shone much brighter. With a single punch, she shattered one of the chess pieces in front of her. Using her body like a weapon, she crushed chess pieces wherever she went.

Tianming marveled at her prowess as he used his grand lexicon wonder and totems to keep their pursuers at bay while he kept close to her. However, the sheer difference in levels meant that his tricks wouldn't do much. They could easily use brute force to crush any technique he had.

"Don't run!" The twelve wonderians split up as they gave chase, intent on sealing off their escape route. All kinds of divine wonders came to stop them, mostly the chess pieces!

"Keep close to me!" Zi Zhen wouldn't be able to keep pulling his hand if she was to fight.

Tianming could still keep up with her speed if he didn't have to fight, so he let her do all the work. "Dammit, this is exciting!"

After shattering another chess piece, they found the light screen ahead of them. Zi Zhen used a flurry of abilities and brute physical pounding, and finally managed to shatter it. At the end of the day, the screen was just a formation after all. "The light screens from the board's squares aren't able to stop me, but I might not be able to do anything to the screens at the very edge of the board."

"No worries, leave that to me. I need some time, however, so youll have to cover me," Tianming urgently said.

"Are you sure?" she asked. She didn't think anything other than brute force would be able to break through it.

"Didn't you feel his Sky Plundering Hand working?" Ying Huo said, popping out of Tianming's clothes. The strong winds had ruffled its feathers.

Zi Zhen lost focus and got smashed in by a chess piece. Her head was completely flattened, which was an injury that would be fatal to normal G.o.ds. However, it quickly reformed through the use of her cosmic chart. Every drop of spilled blood went back to where it was supposed to be.

"Pay attention!" Tianming shouted.

"Got it!" Her rage surged from the provocation and she went berserk. Her long purple hair ignited into flames, turning her into a purple, human-shaped sun. She turned into a violet beam and crushed all the divine wonders and chess pieces ahead of her at a speed Tianming couldnt keep up with.

Fortunately, he had tied the Prime Starchain to her waist in time and was pulled along with her at full force. She was going so fast that he swayed nonstop in the air. The wonderians behind them were still yelling at them to surrender and be spared, but he couldn't care less.

"We're here!" Zi Zhen said.

Tianming saw a much larger light screen ahead of him. Using his Sky Plundering Eye, he saw that the screen was no different from normal formations; it was made solely from divine celestial patterns. "Alright, keep standing your ground!"

If Zi Zhen attacked the light screen, the entire chessboard would move to mitigate the force of her strike, so she held back and placed her hopes in Tianming instead, who had stuck his hand straight into the light screen when he slammed into it.
